The purpose of this database is to assist breeders with a tool for selecting
future breed pairings.
The database does not contain dogs who were lost at a very early age.
These dogs have no impact on future matings or background pedigrees.

WHY THIS STATEMENT? It has come to our attention that a particular pedigree software company has started promoting a new service/product which utilizes the web. There is nothing wrong with that in itself, other than they are using automated spiders to crawl the web and are actually harvesting (or stealing) data from those who have worked hard to provide it. They are then CHARGING people for their kennel management product and access to the harvested data. Because of these less-than-ethical actions, the ISAA has felt the need to add this statement. We will continue to provide our pedigree service at NO CHARGE!
